In Year 3 this week, we will be learning:

• To tell and write times from an analogue clock face up to 5min and 1min intervals.
• To tell and write times from a Roman Numeral clock face.

Year 4 and the Curious Coordinates

Today in maths we used our bodies to help us understand coordinates. To do this we all became a coordinate by sitting in 6 columns and 4 rows. We learnt how to work out what our own ‘coordinate’ would be, and how to calculate our new coordinate if we moved seats. We also learnt how we can make shapes by plotting coordinates and joining them up by holding hands or using a meter stick. After this, we found the coordinates of points plotted on a grid.
