The young Romans began their day with a characteristically noisy invasion of the school. With children and teachers from Year 1 to 6 fleeing from the cries of "We are the Romans" and scrabbling under tables in fear (and Mr Teasall surrendering during the siege) it was a very successful morning.
Following this, the Romans learnt what life was like in Britain before their invasion. They played at being Celts; trying on Celtic clothes and armour, hunting wild boar and preparing for war.
